CPO / HFO Engine :

Our Green Engine has better thermal efficiency and Lower Sulphur emission than conventional diesel oil engine. We maybe the only Asia-make engine in the world now that can burn crude palm oil. We have achieved a breakthrough with the successful testing of the engine in August 2014.

Using the similar engines that have been proven in burning heavy oil engines, our factory has managed to conduct successful engine modifications after extensive research and trials on the engine.

Our products are 2 types of Heavy Duty Engine :

  1. CPO or HFO engine that has better thermal efficiency than diesel oil and Lower Sulphur emission than conventional diesel engines
  2. Gas engine designed by Norwegian Marine Technology Research Institute which is low carbon and energy saving

Being the State-owned entreprise, Guangzhou diesel engine factory (GDF) was established in 1911 with the first engine produced in 1915. With output power from 500kw to 4400kw, its engines are used as marine engines, auxiliary engines, industrial engines and as land or marine generating sets. The engines can use crude palm oil (CPO) or HFO (heavy fuel oil) of 180CST/50°C or 380CST/50°C
